Nature Based Summer Activities
Charteroak® holidays are all about the bliss. You’ll find our parks to be lovely, peaceful havens from which you can venture out and find your own South West adventure.
It is easy to spend a day at your chosen holiday accommodation listening to the sounds of nature, reading a book or just taking a local stroll. But if your kids are reaching for the nearest device and the suggestion of a walk sends eyes rolling skyward, try some of these Summer activities to encourage them to put the phones down, whilst you still get to soak up all of those back to nature vibes.
Coasteering
This Is a great activity for any active family and can be tailored to match your abilities. Try it out on the Cornwall or Devon coastline. A mix of bouldering, sea swimming and rock jumps will keep you all challenged and entertained as you traverse beautiful stretches of the coast, enjoying beautiful views as you go.
